Sootblowers
As a result of combustion of various types of solid fuels, waste is generated in the form of fly ash carried with the exhaust gases and deposited on LUVO elements.
The deposits formed on the fillings of heating baskets impair heat transfer and increase flow resistance and air leakage into the exhaust gases. The installation of sootblowers allows to keep clean the fillings of the heating baskets without having to tern off the boiler for washing the heating baskets.
The sootblowers are installed on the exhaust gas side, directly above and below the LUVO rotor. The working elements, powered by steam taken from the boiler, extend cyclically towards the rotor axis, ensuring even cleaning of all baskets. The lance with nozzles, as a working element, is extended towards the rotor axis in a continuous movement and withdraws to the resting position in an intermittent (step) movement.
