Why modernize?

LUVO recovers approximately 60% of the thermal energy contained in boiler exhaust gases. LUVO installed at a 500 MW boiler allows you to save approximately 1,500 tons of coal per day, increasing the boiler efficiency by approximately 10%.

What can be done:

-  to reduce air leakage into flue gas by modernizing seals. Tightening the rotor relieves the flue gas and air fans and increases the efficiency of flue gas dedusting in the electrostatic precipitator (by reducing the oxygen content in the flue gas and slowing down their flow).

-  to reduce outlet loss and flow resistance by modernizing heating baskets. Increasing the heated surface and the thermal capacity of the heating baskets results in a decrease in the flue gas temperature and an increase in the temperature of the hot air. The resistance to the flow of Flue gas and air can be changed by using a different type of filling profile in the baskets.

-  to increase boiler availability by modernizing drives and installing ash blowers.
